This course explores important issues around the recent explosion in cocaine use in the UK. Using the latest research, the course examines the changing demographics of cocaine use, key risks to physical health and the impact that regular cocaine use can have on users’ mental health. The training also explores why cocaine addiction has become so prevalent in the U.K.
The course explores the key strategies to help users reduce the harm associated with their cocaine use. The training is suitable for all staff who require up to date information and advice on cocaine and how to support clients who may be using the drug.
