This course draws upon the most up to date research to explore the complex issue of addiction.
The course examines the physiological, psychological, emotional and societal factors linked to the development of drug and alcohol dependency and other types of compulsive behaviours.
The course is suitable for all staff who require a better understanding of the addictive process and how they may be better able to assist their clients who are experiencing addiction.
